About Alton
With 12 years of teaching and professional singing experience, I am passionate about helping students from school to college strengthen their vocal skills, stage presence, and confidence. Music has always been a central part of my life, and teaching allows me to share that passion while guiding students towards technical mastery and expressive performance.
Over the years, I have helped learners improve breath control, pitch accuracy, tone quality, and overall vocal strength. Many of my students have performed successfully in competitions, school events, and cultural programmes, marking proud milestones in my career.
My lessons are structured, interactive, and personalised, including vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, rhythm practice, and expressive song interpretation. I focus on consistent practice, guidance, and encouragement to help students achieve steady growth and develop a lifelong love for music.

My singing strategy is designed to build confidence through structured guidance and creative freedom. Flexibility ensures that lessons evolve as students progress. I integrate breathing exercises, pitch drills, articulation work, and expressive coaching into every class.
Empathy allows me to understand stage anxiety and offer reassurance. Compassion ensures constructive and respectful feedback. Clear communication breaks down vocal techniques into understandable instructions.
Collaboration keeps students motivated through shared planning and evaluation. Alongside Singing, I teach foundational Music Theory, Sight Singing, and Performance Preparation.
