About Nancy
I have 22 years of teaching experience and hold a Doctor of Science in Mathematical Sciences. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided students from secondary school through postgraduate studies, helping them build strong mathematical foundations through personalized instruction and supportive mentorship. I find great satisfaction in helping learners discover that mathematics is both logical and intellectually rewarding.
One learner found mathematical induction especially challenging because understanding how the base case and inductive step worked together seemed confusing. Through visual reasoning, carefully sequenced examples, and repeated guided practice, the student gradually developed confidence in constructing rigorous mathematical proofs and achieved excellent results in advanced mathematics assessments.
I believe mathematics nurtures critical thinking, creativity, discipline, and resilience that benefit students throughout their personal and professional lives. My classroom promotes curiosity, collaboration, respectful discussion, and independent exploration while ensuring every learner feels encouraged to reach their highest potential.

I believe mathematics should be taught as a connected discipline where every concept builds naturally upon previous knowledge.
