About Seb
Hello I'm Sebastian,
I have been a professional tutor for 4 years. I am a calm and patient teacher with a good sense of humour.
My experience as a tutor is diverse. I have taught children working at Key stage 2 and 3, GCSEs, A-levels, Undergraduates and Masters level students. I have taught children with special educational needs such as Autism, ADHD and Tourettes.
I have taken The Cambridge English CELTA for teaching English as a foreign language which is accredited at level 5 on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). For this course I have been tutoring adults - improving their writing, speaking and grammar skills.
I am experienced at coaching undergraduates and masters students with their essays and dissertations - particularly helping non-native speakers with structure and grammar.

I run a start-up animation company and have a background in television production and live comedy. I use my creative background to tailor lessons to my students needs, making learning an interesting and challenging experience for the student.
During my professional experience in the television and animation industries I have worked, and collaborated, with people from all over the world, and it is this collaborative approach that I take to teaching.
I believe it is important to break lessons up into small task based activities that encourages learning through doing.
Outside of teaching I enjoy playing football and watching sports, going to comedy shows / live events (music etc.)
