About Tessa
I have over 3 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering with a guitar focus. My approach emphasizes improvisation, helping students explore jazz and blues in creative ways. Lessons are fun, goal-oriented, and tailored to the student.
I guide students through modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing. Together, we build technical skill and a personal improvisational style.
I’ve worked with intermediate to advanced learners and those preparing for professional gigs. Every session encourages expressive, spontaneous musical creation.

I offer engaging, goal-oriented guitar lessons with a focus on fingerstyle, classical pieces, and intricate solo arrangements. My approach balances technical mastery and musical expression. Students explore advanced picking patterns, sheet music reading, and arranging complex pieces for solo guitar. Lessons are designed to strengthen both hands and coordination.
I use visual aids, precise demonstrations, and slow-practice techniques to ensure mastery of challenging passages. Every step is carefully explained and reinforced.
I work with recording artists polishing their skills and late bloomers developing confidence. Lessons are tailored to individual strengths and learning styles.
Together, we reveal the artistry behind fingerstyle guitar, building skill and expressive playing. Each lesson encourages creativity and musical independence.
