About Marijke
Hallo! I'm Marijke, 30-years old and a native Dutch speaker born in Belgium. All my life I've been passionate about languages, devouring books and writing myself. Over the years I've mastered a couple of other languages but Dutch always stayed special to me. Back in Belgium I taught Dutch to newcomers next to my regular job as a nurse (masters degree) and I found out teaching is something that I truly enjoy. Now I moved to London I want to continue this journey and help others mastering this beautiful language.

I give personalized classes based on your starting level, the level you are looking to achieve as well as the reason you want to learn Dutch. I like using multiple learning methods based on the interests of the student; a combination of dialogue, writing, reading and listening to give an in-depth immersion into this beautiful but challenging language. I'm very passionate about the Dutch language and hope to transfer this passion to my students to make this both an efficient and enjoyable learning experience! One class is 60 minutes in general, for level A1-B2 Dutch.
