About Max
Hi, I'm Max! I'm currently studying Spanish and International Relations at Durham University and have always enjoyed learning languages. After achieving an A in A-level Spanish, I've continued studying the language at university and would love to help others improve their confidence too.
I know that everyone learns differently, so I'll always try to make lessons suit what you need. Whether you're working towards GCSE or A-level exams, need help with homework, or just want to practise speaking Spanish, I'll make sure lessons are friendly, relaxed and focused on your goals.
Alongside university, I work as an Activity Instructor with SuperCamps, where I spend my time working with children and helping them learn through fun, engaging activities. It's taught me how important patience, encouragement and clear communication are.
I'm easy to talk to, happy to answer questions, and I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes because that's how languages are learned. My aim is to help you build confidence as well as improve your Spanish, and hopefully enjoy learning it along the way.

As a Spanish and International Relations student at Durham University with an A grade in A-level Spanish, I understand the challenges students face because I have recently been through the same examinations myself. My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is one of the best ways to develop language skills.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged if required. A typical lesson may include:
Reviewing previous learning and answering questions.
Developing grammar and vocabulary through clear explanations and practical examples.
Speaking and pronunciation practice to build confidence.
Reading, listening or writing activities depending on the student's goals.
Exam-style questions and revision techniques for GCSE and A-level students.
I provide personalised resources and adapt lessons to suit each student's learning style and pace. Whether you need help improving your grades, preparing for exams or simply becoming more confident speaking Spanish, I will work with you to help you achieve your goals.
