About Adam
I recently graduated from Durham Uni with a first in Mathematics. I have always been able to explain tricky concepts to my fellow students throughout my school years. I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths at A level and got A*, A, A*, A* respectively. At GCSEs I got 9A*s and 2As including getting 98% in maths a year early - showing the depth of my understanding.

My first lesson is free, allowing me to gauge the level of the student including their ambitions and what they are having trouble with, as well as being time for the student to get to know me and see if my style will work for them.
In the proceeding lessons we will approach topics one at a time, with a focus on understanding and problem solving. Lessons last an hour by default but can be flexible. I have an electronic touchpad which I can write on to show students how to go through problems in live time.
I am able to offer alternate explanations compared to teachers, a variety of example questions which we can work through together, tailored notes for the student to hold onto after the lesson and refer back to, and advice on best practices for revision.
