About Emily
I love the opportunity to really connect with people and work with them to achieve goals.
I am a professional with years of experience who can offer a safe space to learn, experiment, fail and grow.
I can offer lessons tailored to the individual and am able to adapt when new goals emerge during sessions.
I am a strong communicator and I am reliable, hard-working and professional in my conduct and relationships with students.
I have current TRB & WWVP Registrations.

About the lesson

I've spent over 30 years teaching Drama and contemporary dance, with a special interest in voice training and direction.
I have taught and examined TASC (Years 11 & 12) Drama & Dance for many years as well as the Australian Curriculum Drama courses from Years 7-10.
I enjoy teaching students aged from 13 to 90!
My students receive sessions tailored to their needs and preferred outcomes. This may include TASC exam preparation and/or working on pieces for auditions.
I also love the opportunity to work with people on their confidence, as new drama skills enable them to speak fluently, clearly and fearlessly in public.
Each session lasts one hour or 45 minutes for High School students and I am happy to extend this as required.
I have a B. Ed from UTAS and as a part of my professional learning over the years have explored many exciting teaching methodologies and theatrical workshops which have enriched my teaching style and pedagogy.
