About Lim
I know that Chinese can feel like an impossible puzzle. Between the tones, the homophones, and the complex grammar, it’s easy to feel lost. As a Double Major in Chinese and English from NTU Singapore, I have spent years mastering the bridge between these two worlds. With one year of experience teaching new learners right here in Singapore, I’ve seen exactly where students get stuck. My lessons are not 'one-size-fits-all.' Instead, I offer: English-Mediated Logic: I explain difficult Chinese concepts using the English frameworks you already understand, so you don't just memorize—you truly learn. Real-Life Scenario Practice: We focus on your specific needs, whether it's daily conversation, workplace vocabulary, or your own preferred life scenarios. Effective Vocabulary Building: I help you navigate homophones and complex sentence structures through personalized 'Bridge Sheets' that match your learning style.
