About Sam
I am currently interning at NATO in America, after graduating from the University of Cambridge in the summer. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in English Literature from Cambridge, achieving the highest possible grades in both: a Double First and a Distinction. I also have A-levels in English, History, and Economics, and Grade 8 Distinction in the Cello and Double Bass. I have extensive teaching experience, having tutored in the UK and abroad for the past few years. I am always keen to hear from prospective students and to hopefully learn something myself in the process!

I provide one-on-one online tuition to English, History, and Economics students looking to prepare for entrance exams, improve essay writing, or just to improve their confidence in their subject. I can tutor History and Economics students up to A-level standard and English students to University level; I am also happy to help with students right through from 11+ to GCSE level.
I cater each lesson to the specific requirements of the student, providing worksheets, interactive feedback and marking written work whenever needed. I usually require that students send any written work to me at least a day in advance of the lesson, so that the full duration of our time can be spent working through any problems. I only take on a limited number of students, to ensure that each pupil is given my full attention.
