About Alyssa
I am a Double Bass Performance Major at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA and have been playing bass for approximately 9 years. I focus primarily on classical music and orchestral playing with the goal of auditioning for a major symphony once I’ve graduated with my bachelors.

As someone who was also just starting out once, I know how important a solid foundation is. I aim to help newer players acquire a solid foundation through technical studies, scales, études and whatever else might be needed. I find it incredibly important that playing the instrument be as comfortable as possible, so we’ll work together to work towards tension free, easy playing.
