About Jacob
I am currently a student at the University of Illinois for Music Education. I've played in many orchestras, including the u of i symphony orchestra, skokie valley symphony, all state honors orchestra in Peoria, and the Wheaton College Orchestra for a time. I've also played in different jazz groups, and taught different students the bass over a number of years.

My teaching method may change and vary over time, but currently the way I would see myself approaching teaching is to examine the level the student can play at, and go from there. I could possibly wonder at the musical direction that particular person would want to go, and as a tutor, help them achieve those goals.
