About Nicola
I’m a passionate and patient tutor with a PhD in Theoretical Physics and extensive teaching experience at various levels. I hold an undergraduate master’s degree in Physics with Mathematics, a postgraduate master’s in Molecular Scale Engineering, and a PGCE (a teaching qualification). Throughout my career, I’ve taught GCSE Maths and Science, A-Level Physics, Access Physics, and BTEC Science, as well as university-level physics and maths during my PhD. My teaching style is supportive and adaptable, ensuring students gain both understanding and confidence. I break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, using real-world examples and problem-solving techniques. Lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to each student's needs—whether they aim to boost grades, prepare for exams, or develop a deeper appreciation for the subject. I enjoy helping students of all backgrounds, from GCSE and A-Level learners to university students and adult learners, making maths and physics more accessible and enjoyable. My enthusiasm for these subjects drives me to create a positive learning environment where students can thrive.
