About Michayla
Within my 5 year journey of tutoring, I’ve been able to work with all age groups/ranges. In my high school years, I tutored students between the ages of 14-19 in various subjects, mainly test prep. As I progressed into adulthood and college, I tutored others, some as old as 50, in psychology topics and math. Additionally, I’ve worked 2.5 years as a teachers assistant in an early education center.

I am available for in person and virtual lessons. My teaching technique varies from student to student being that everyone learns at a different pace/ way. What works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for the other. A teaching method is developed after engaging with the student and determining what type of learner they are, whether it's visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. Once a learning strategy is found then the student is able to correctly process and obtain the information.
