About Harvey
Professional Experience I have had the privilege of touring the world with numerous esteemed artists across a diverse range of musical styles, including jazz and African music. These experiences have enriched my understanding of various musical traditions and performance techniques. Academic Background My academic journey includes studies at VMS Music School in Suriname and Berklee College of Music in the United States. These institutions have provided me with a solid foundation in music theory, composition, and performance. Teaching Philosophy These experiences have allowed me to develop a comprehensive concept related to traditional rhythms on the drum set, which I am passionate about sharing with my students. I believe that understanding these rhythms is essential for any drummer looking to enhance their skills and music
