About Cheah
Hi! I’m Jia Wei, a tutor with a Diploma in Biotechnology (Food Science & Agriculture), specializing in Primary 1–4 Math and Science, and Secondary 1–3 (Normal Academic) Math and Chemistry. I do provide tuition for Food Science Too! I tailor each lesson to suit my students’ unique learning styles, helping them grasp concepts clearly and confidently. With experience as a Science Educator, I’ve conducted engaging lessons for various age groups, making learning both effective and enjoyable. Beyond academics, I care deeply about my students’ overall well-being. As a youth group facilitator in church, I’m committed to supporting and encouraging young people through every season. Lessons are 1 to 1.5 hours, and I’m happy to travel. I’d love to be part of your child’s learning journey.

As a passionate tutor with a Diploma in Biotechnology (Food Science & Agriculture), I specialise in teaching Math and Science for Primary 1–4 and Secondary 1–3 (Normal Academic). My lessons are tailored to suit each child’s learning style—whether they’re visual, hands-on, or need more time to grasp key concepts.
With experience designing and delivering age-appropriate science lessons at the Science Centre, I’ve developed a strong ability to connect with students and explain complex ideas in a fun, relatable way. My goal is to build both understanding and confidence in every learner.
Each lesson typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, and I’m flexible with travelling to students’ homes. Whether your child needs help grasping tricky math problems or understanding science concepts, I’m here to support their learning journey every step of the way.
