About Chandana
Hello and welcome!
My name is Chandana. I am an award-winning artist and dedicated art educator with over 4 years of experience teaching creative minds.
I hold an Engineering degree and worked as a Software Developer for 3 years before taking a meaningful 10-year break to raise my family.
Today, I am channeling my lifelong passion for creativity into my final year of a Diploma in Fine Arts from the prestigious Pracheen Kala Kendra.
As a mother of two wonderful kids, I know exactly how to connect with young minds.
My engineering background helps me break down complex artistic concepts into logical, easy-to-follow steps, while my experience as a mother ensures my classes are filled with patience, warmth, and encouragement.
Whether you are looking for an online art mentor for your child or a structured hobby class for yourself, I use my fluent English skills to provide clear, engaging, and high-quality instruction to students worldwide.
My Areas of Expertise:
Rare Indian Folk Art: Authentic Madhubani, Warli, and the unique Cheriyal scroll art.
️ Foundational Mastery: Drawing basics, geometric patterns, and 3D perspective.
Versatile Mediums: Expert coaching in Oil Pastels, Color Pencils, Watercolors, and Acrylics.

Art is a perfect mix of technique and imagination! Because I come from a technical background, I do not believe in the phrase "I don't know how to draw."
I teach art as a step-by-step system where anyone can succeed.
What makes my online classes special:
The "Building Block" Method: I break down intricate folk art borders, animals, and human figures into basic shapes like circles, lines, and triangles. If you can write the alphabet, you can paint with me!
Kid-Centric Engagement: Having taught young children for over 3 years, I design lessons that keep short attention spans fully engaged through storytelling and interactive drawing games.
Medium Chemistry: I teach the logic behind your materials—how to smoothly blend oil pastels, layer watercolors without making them muddy, and master acrylic brush strokes.
Seamless Online Setup: As a former software developer, I ensure our virtual classroom is smooth, clear, and perfectly organized with digital reference templates and easy-to-use tracing sheets sent right to your inbox.
