About Mark
I am a professional Digital Artist with almost a decade of experience and a lifetime of loving the art of drawing. I started my journey by drawing Pokemon as a child which led me into the art field where over the years I learned the basics from unexpected sources. It is not until I learned from a teacher that I understood how much time a good teacher can save for a student and how much a concentrated course on the basics can allow anyone to progress in weeks instead of years which became my primary goal.

Art is not a talent but practice and that is what I show every student who thinks they can never draw.
-The lessons start with getting the basics of shapes, confident lines, and forms.
-The following steps are perspective, twisting simple forms, and learning 3d shapes.
-Anatomy, lights, and shadows are the last big topics.
-At all stages I have students make appropriate projects to showcase their level of skill and help them understand that art is not the finished product but the accumulation of techniques put together on one page.
