Andrea Vitti (1991) born in Lecce (IT). Product Designer & Eco Designer.

He graduates with honors at the ISIA ROMA DESIGN in Rome, while he takes part in the Erasmus exchange program attending at the Hochschule Mainz, in Germany.

He mainly takes care of Product Design and works at the design for museum and exposition spaces in collaboration with Elser Oliver (DAM President).

When he backs to Italy, he attends at Toti Semerano’s architecture office (Padova-Lecce) where he starts to develop his Thesis; he designs a tensile structure concept for a cover on Stadium Qatar for the Venice Biennale 2014.

Thanks to this experience, he finds out his own roots and approaches the local handcraft such as the Lecce’s papiermachè artisans; his work, named TUTZO, is the final and innovative product of his Bachelor’s degree, a tensile structure made in papiermachè.

Since 2013 works as Eco-designer and collaborates as Co-design Tutor with ‘Laboratiorio Linfa’, based in Rome.

Over the Green Week 2014 (Bruxelles), Linfa wins the award Best Practice in Up-Cycling from Janez Potocnik (European Commissioner for Environment).

In 2015 has the chance to meet IKEA’s headquarter in Almuth.

Nowadays Andrea works as freelancer design. He takes care of sustainable design.
In collaborations with national and international realities, he takes part in the workshop for the urban regeneration.

He opened, together with Facdësain, a small office. They aim to give a social-educational direction to the current design.
