About Leni
With 8 years of experience in violin teaching and professional performance, I am deeply committed to helping students grow both musically and personally. I teach violin to school and college students and have worked with learners of all levels and abilities. One of my proudest milestones has been seeing students progress from learning basic notes to performing confidently in recitals and competitions.
My lessons focus on strong foundations such as posture, finger placement, bow control, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also encouraging musical expression and emotional connection to the music. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match their individual needs, goals, and pace.
I create a positive and patient learning environment where students feel motivated, supported, and inspired. Teaching violin allows me to share my love for music while helping students build discipline, focus, and a lifelong passion for learning.

My teaching methodology emphasises motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, aiming to foster technically proficient, expressive, and confident violinists. Lessons are personalised to match each student’s skill level, interests, and goals, ensuring that learning is both effective and enjoyable.
Motivation drives every lesson. I work with students to set achievable goals, track their development, and celebrate successes, inspiring confidence and perseverance. Communication is central to my approach. I encourage questions, discussions, and feedback, ensuring students feel supported and understood at every stage of learning.
Creativity is emphasised through improvisation, interpretation, and composing exercises, helping students explore their artistic potential and develop a personal musical voice. Integrity guides students to practise responsibly, remain disciplined, and approach learning with dedication and honesty.
I also teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic piano, offering a holistic musical education. My approach prepares students to become confident, expressive, and motivated musicians, with the skills and passion to enjoy music for a lifetime.
