About Callen
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics, driven by a lifelong fascination with patterns, logic, and problem-solving. Over the past eleven years, I have dedicated myself to helping students move past anxiety and discover confidence in their mathematical abilities. Teaching allows me to share the beauty and structure of mathematics in ways that are clear, engaging, and empowering for every learner. My approach is patient, structured, and highly personalized. I carefully observe how each student thinks and adapt my teaching to match their unique learning style. Some require step-by-step breakdowns, while others benefit from challenging problem scenarios. I focus on building strong foundations first, ensuring that every new topic connects logically to what has already been learned. This builds security and understanding rather than surface-level memorization. Outside of teaching, I study mathematical theories, participate in educational workshops, and continuously refine my teaching strategies. Mathematics, for me, is both an art and a science.
