About Estelle
I am a guitar tutor with 7 years of experience and a Diploma of Music in Guitar Specialisation. I have taught over 200 students from all backgrounds and skill levels across acoustic, classical, electric, and bass guitar. My teaching covers scales, modes, chord harmony, rhythm, songwriting, and performance preparation throughout every course of lessons. I am passionate about helping students find genuine joy and creative confidence in playing the guitar. My lessons are engaging, structured, and always adapted to the individual student. I have helped students perform live, record original music, and pass graded examinations with strong results. Let me help you become the guitarist you have always imagined being.

My guitar lessons build strong technical foundations while keeping every session musical, engaging, and genuinely rewarding for the student. I start every new student relationship with a clear assessment of their current ability, musical goals, and preferred style so every lesson is immediately relevant and motivating. Warm-up routines develop scales, chord progressions, and picking technique to build the physical coordination and muscle memory needed for confident and fluid playing. Music theory is taught progressively alongside practical playing so every concept connects directly to the music the student is working on and nothing feels abstract or disconnected from real playing. Students who enjoy acoustic and fingerstyle guitar develop right-hand technique, fingerpicking patterns, and the specific skills needed for solo guitar performance. Electric students work on tone shaping, amp settings, bending, vibrato, and the expressive vocabulary of rock, blues, and jazz. I use backing tracks consistently throughout lessons to develop timing, groove, and the ability to play with genuine musical expressiveness in any context. Songwriters receive focused dedicated sessions on chord progressions, melody development, lyric writing, and turning personal ideas into finished original compositions. I provide a clear and specific weekly practice plan after every lesson so students always know exactly what to work on and how to use their home practice time most effectively. My commitment is for every student to become a confident, creative, and passionate guitarist.
