About Evelyn
My passion for economics comes from a deep curiosity about how societies allocate resources and how decisions influence people’s lives. Over the past seven years, I have dedicated myself to understanding these dynamics and sharing them with students in a meaningful way. Teaching allows me to inspire awareness, responsibility, and analytical strength in young minds. I approach each student with patience and respect, recognizing that everyone learns differently. My lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing space for exploration and discussion. I value critical thinking and encourage students to question assumptions and develop independent viewpoints. My aim is to guide, not lecture, helping learners gain confidence in their own reasoning. I stay informed about global economic trends and policy changes to keep my lessons current and relevant. For me, economics is not just an academic subject; it is a powerful lens through which to understand the world. Sharing that perspective with my students is one of the most meaningful parts of my life’s work.

Economics is the study of choices, resources, and systems that impact daily life on both small and global scales. My lessons aim to make these ideas clear, relatable, and intellectually stimulating. I foster an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing opinions, and challenging ideas respectfully. Instead of focusing only on memorizing models, I emphasize understanding the logic behind them and connecting theories to real-world events. By discussing examples from current affairs, history, and personal experience, students begin to see economics as a living subject that shapes the world around them.
Beginners are introduced to fundamental concepts such as scarcity, supply and demand, opportunity cost, and basic market structures. Intermediate learners examine elasticity, government policies, inflation, unemployment, and economic cycles. Advanced students explore international economics, development issues, fiscal and monetary strategies, and data interpretation. Throughout the lesson process, I incorporate diagrams, case studies, discussion, and writing practice to build both clarity and exam readiness.
As students progress, they develop stronger decision-making skills, greater awareness of global issues, and an ability to think critically about society. They become more confident in expressing ideas and forming logical arguments. My goal is to help students not only achieve academic success, but also gain a deeper understanding of the world and their role in shaping its future.
