About Mavis
I am a dedicated Computer Programming tutor with over 2 years of teaching experience and a Master of Arts in Literary Theory and Criticism, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly. I focus on helping beginner and intermediate learners build practical coding skills. My goal is to make programming useful in everyday problem-solving.
I teach programming through real-world applications. This includes tasks like automating simple workflows, organizing data, and understanding basic software logic. Students learn how coding fits into daily life. It becomes more than just writing code.
I use structured exercises and guided practice in my sessions. These include step-by-step coding tasks and small projects. I also provide practical code snippets and reusable patterns. This helps students learn efficiently.
