About Jessie
My name is Jessie and I'm dedicated and motivated music teacher (with QTS) and film composer with a passion for education, music, film and other art forms. I have taught piano one-to-one to 5-11 year olds for over two years. I have also conducted/accompanied a youth-choir for two years and I have taught music in both primary and secondary schools.
On top of that, I am a film composer with 7 years of experience writing music for films and other media.
As a child, I had a few great examples of music teachers who taught me to love and enjoy playing music. By playing an instrument and composing music I learned a different way of expressing emotions and feelings. I hope to be able to pass on this passion for music to others as well.
As I'm from the Netherlands, I am a native Dutch speaker. I therefore also over tutoring in learning the Dutch language

Jessie is excellent at providing clear and concise advice on a variety of musical subject matters. Through her guidance, I was able to develop skills in using Logic Pro, composing music for guitar and vocals, as well as improving my piano playing techniques. She was always very calm and patient when explaining things I didn’t understand, always tailoring the pace of the learning to whatever was comfortable to me.
