About Alexa
I grew up in Coventry, Rhode Island, but my boyfriend and I are moving to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina in October. I just graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and I will be a graduate student online this fall. I danced for 15 years in the fields of lyrical, contemporary, ballet, acro, musical theatre, tap, and jazz. In 2014, I earned first place at nationals for my solo. I have also danced on television with Abby Lee Miller.

I will customize lessons to accommodate the goals and needs of those who I tutor. I will ensure that training is fun, but intense. I can work in any setting and my hours are flexible. I do have experience leading tap and jazz dance classes at my previous studio. Typical classes will involve conditioning, across the floor work, combinations, and work on specific goals that dancers have.
