About Alexis
I am 24 years old, and I have loved art all of my life. I started out with coloring books like most children. Then I went into drawing and shading, I did some tribal art for a little while, and then I started painting. Painting has been such a fun way for me to express my creativity, I love stating with nothing but a blank canvas and then having something beautiful in the end. I love looking down and seeing the paint all over my fingers and arms, that's how I know I was really expressing myself and I never care if I'm a mess from it.

I will be teaching the differences between brushes, when and how to use certain brush movements to create texture in a painting. I will also be teaching how to mix colors to create other colors. Each lesson will start with me showing the brushes and colors we will be using for the painting. During each lesson we will complete a painting together. These classes are great for anyone who wants to get into painting but just needs a little bit of guidance for how to begin. The thing I love most about teaching painting is knowing that I am unlocking a creative door in the minds of others and giving them a place to express it.
