My approach is structured, patient, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Lessons are goal-driven and focused on building strong foundations, confidence, and effective exam technique. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then break topics down step by step using clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice. Students are encouraged to explain their thinking, attempt problems independently, and ask questions freely, as active participation is key to long-term progress.
I typically run 60-minute lessons, which allows enough time for explanation, practice, and feedback without overwhelming the student. Lessons can be adapted in pace and focus depending on the learner’s level, confidence, and goals.
For Computer Science, I support both GCSE and A-Level students with programming fundamentals (such as Python or Java), algorithms, data representation, and computational thinking. I am familiar with AQA, Edexcel, and OCR specifications and tailor lessons accordingly.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students who may be struggling with confidence, as well as motivated learners aiming to improve grades or strengthen their understanding. I create a supportive, judgement-free environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of the learning process, and progress is clear and measurable.
