About Jessica
A pleasure to meet you! I'm Jess or Jessica And this is a little about myself: I am from Mexico City. I am 35 years old. I have been a Spanish tutor for over 8 years and it has been a lovely experience. I started teaching English in Mexico as I also have a TEFL certificate about 10+ years ago, and after going to China to teach both languages, I decided and realised how much I love to teach. I'm passionate about cultures, so I know much about Latin American culture and also I'm married to a Venezuelan. I enjoy teaching Spanish because it is a way to share my language and culture and also an opportunity to meet new people around the world. I teach toddlers, kids, young adults, and adults but also I teach Business English and Spanish.

¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? My teaching method varies greatly based on the learning style of the student (visual/verbal/auditory/logical/practical) as I believe in adjusting my lessons based on the student's needs. I usually evaluate the best method or combination of methods during the first two or three lessons and also based on student's preferences. I have the ability to develop relationships with my students involving myself to facilitate the exchange of information. As my students are from different ages and culture, getting involved with their culture and things they like, would be a better way to exchange information. I have a very patient, caring and kind personality. I care for them, in order to do better, communicate more, refine and improve. At the end of each lesson I always leave homework assignments and I also share the Spanish material so you can study whenever you want. Encourage to learn a second language with me, it will be fun!

Jessica is a very good teacher. You learn with pleasure and never feel bored. Our classes were more casual because I had no deadline to learn and this is what i preffered but she can adapt to any style. I would always be in a better mood after our class. i perfected my grammar and absorbed more about the culture in a short period of time.
She is honestly the best :) both as a Spanish teacher and overall as a person. Classes are always fun, she is funny and engaging and knows how to adapt to my level of understanding.
I went to Mexico 6 months after starting classes and I had the confidence to speak in Spanish with people in restaurants, at the airport and even with my scuba diving instructors. Everyone appreciated it and my level of Spanish.
I can confidently recommend her to anyone looking to learn Spanish in a natural way, classes are never boring and you won't feel like you are at school.

Details
-First trial lesson, 50 mins/free: The idea with this lesson is to get to know each other, the methodology, material and do a short practice in Spanish. -For custom classes, 60 mins/£20 per person: Practical lesson, material will be sent and exercises if the student prefers. - You can see the lesson packs for more info. -You can take the lessons with a friend at the same time and the lesson's cost per hour will be considerably reduced. -I recommend from 1 to 2 lessons per week to help to advance your knowledge and skills. -Cancellation Policy: The student has 24hrs before cancelling the class w/o any charge. -6+ hours before the student may pay 5£ -Less than 3 hours the student may pay 10£ -Students have 15 minutes tolerance. If student arrives after 15 mins or does not show up, class will be cancelled and have to pay the whole rate as a given lesson. Thank you!
