About Halima
I study maths, physics, computer science and further maths at A-levels.These subjects crossover quite a lot, giving me a solid foundation of all these subjects. I have tutored year 11 students in maths, allowing them to feel a lot more confident in their GCSEs. I also volunteer at scouts. This gives me the opportunity to communicate to various people of different backgrounds and ages. I believe these 2 things give me the skills to be a perfect tutor.

As I teach stem based subjects, I will primarily be using questions to help students progress with their learning. We will usually start with a recap. This will allow us to use active recall, ensuring the students have a good memory of all topics. After these questions, I will explain a new concept and continue with a lot of different questions for these topics. By doing so, it allows the student to see all different types of questions and how to answer them.
