About Alina
I am currently a dental student but as someone whose A-levels were disrupted by various lockdowns, I know how critical having a dedicated tutor can be - I certainly would not be where I am today without them and so I would love to be able to give back by being a tutor myself! Going into my 3rd year of university, I have developed a lot of communication and time management skills but I know life is hectic so whilst I will always schedule in the next session in advance with you, I will also be available to message if anything should come up more last minute. As for experience, I have three younger siblings who I have tutored before so I will always be patient and try explaining things a few different ways until my student can confidently repeat it back in their own words and put the teaching into practice :)

I am offering lessons that last 1-1.5hrs (depending on what the student requests) with personalised teaching. This means they can choose the topics they have been struggling with and in the lesson I explain the theory so we can then tackle exam questions together! I achieved a 9 in Biology GCSE and an A at A-level :)
