I believe that I would make a good tutor because I aim to only teach subjects that I have a comprehensive understanding of. My classes will be one hour long, however if needed, more hours can be done! My lessons are aimed to help students at any age, primarily students that are trying out for IELTs. I aim to communicate efficiently with my teaching style and to also support my students with a gentle approach. I believe that even if I do teach content efficiently, as a teacher, I need to be as supportive as I can by encouraging them constantly and presenting a safe and comfortable atmosphere. My teaching approach involves breaking down complex concepts into more manageable and understandable parts, ensuring clarity for my students. I do this by taking a spiral method and making sure the student has a strong foundation with basic concepts that can then be built on, regarding more complicated topics. A fundamental cornerstone of my teaching approach is patience; I recognise that each student will have a unique pace. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment, I help to then foster an environment where questions will be encouraged, and challenges are viewed as opportunities for growth. Drawing back to my own experiences of mastering complicated topics, I try to tailor my teaching style to cater to their specific learning needs. My commitment to the success and happiness of my students, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for sharing knowledge, forms the foundation of my effectiveness as a tutor.
