About Nabahat

Hello there! I am Nabahat Asif, your future English teacher, and here’s some things you should know about me! I am 19 years old and currently studying fine arts from Jamia Millia Islamia and I’ve always been keen on literature history and art. I’m a fun person who absolutely loves sharing my knowledge with little kids. More fun things about me? (I have cats)

About the lesson

For my future English class students, I promise my method will be different and more fun, and these are my strategies:

Emphasise on Engagement, my approach will prioritize an active participation, discussions, and interactive activities rather than traditional lectures.

Creative Learning, I’ll try the inclusion of creative assignments, such as writing exercises, group projects, or incorporating multimedia elements.

Addressing Individual Learning Styles, Communicating that I understand and respect diverse learning styles, and that I will adapt my own teaching methods to accommodate different needs.

I will connect English lessons to practical, real-life situations to demonstrate the relevance and applicability of what the students are learning.

Fostering a Supportive Environment, My intention will be to create a safe, inclusive space where all students feel comfortable to express themselves.

Solicit Feedback, I highly approach to listen to the feedbacks of dear students and make adjustments based on their preferences, ensuring they feel heard and valued.

I will Promote Autonomy and Choice and provide opportunities for students to have some say in what they learn or how they demonstrate their understanding.

I will also be Using Varied Assessment Methods, I’ll employ different assessment techniques beyond traditional tests, like projects, presentations, or creative assignments.
