About Rhea
I am currently a Bioengineering undergrad at UC Berkeley, and am conducting research at the Innovative Genomics Institute. My research focus is in Synthetic Biology and Genetics, and I have experience teaching and preparing course curriculums through Splash! At Berkeley, where I have taught classes for over 3 years in genetics, stem cell work, etc. Additionally, I have been a peer advisor and mentor for underclassmen to help with college preparation and essay writing through Berkeley Mentorship programs.

Strong foundation in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Engineering. I have taken college level engineering classes at UC Berkeley that include an understanding in biochemistry as well as skills in lab techniques and hard sciences. Can teach any grade level. I have taught students in middle school and high school before and lessons will be student guided depending on what they want to learn, but with a set plan for transparency purposes. I use slides/question based approaches to guide the lessons.
