About Jonathan
My name is Jonathan, and I am a current NCEA student with a strong interest in Mathematics and Physics. I have previous experience providing one-on-one tutoring and enjoy helping students work through challenging problems and improve their understanding.
Having recently completed NCEA Level 3, I have direct experience with the current NCEA assessment system and understand the expectations of the assessments and exams. I achieved Excellence in Level 3 Physics and Calculus, as well as NCEA Scholarship in Physics.
I aim to provide a relaxed and approachable environment where students can work through problems without feeling pressured. I understand that Math and Physics can be difficult, and my goal is to help students build their understanding and achieve better grades.

I offer one-on-one online tutoring for NCEA Maths and Physics at any level. Lessons are typically around 60 minutes and focus on working through past papers and practice questions. Students can bring questions or material they are struggling with, or I can provide problems targeting their weaknesses. I generally let students attempt questions independently before stepping in to explain concepts or guide them through the problem. If a particular concept is causing difficulty, I will pause to explain it and use simpler questions before returning to the original problem. I have previous one-on-one tutoring experience and have achieved Excellence in NCEA Level 3 Physics and Calculus, as well as NZQA Scholarship in Physics.
