About Tanaaya
I am currently a first-year PPE student at the University of Warwick and am extremely passionate about politics and the benefits of studying it. Ever since I was young, I have also harboured a passion for English literature, especially its ability to help students think critically and tap into their own creativity. Maths was always a difficult subject for me, but the fact that I was able to conquer it showed me that it was possible and pushed me to urge others to realise this as well. My passion for tutoring comes from my desire to help students who felt as defeated as I once did and to show them that what they felt was impossible is possible with hard work and the correct techniques.

I have been tutoring for the last three years and have worked with students as young as ten and as old as seventeen. This means that I have experience working with a variety of ages and will be able to employ a wide range of techniques to ensure that I am helping my clients meet their full potential. For example, when working with clients who had shorter attention spans, I frequently employed timers and pomodoro techniques to introduce a deadline so they would be incentivised to work. My lessons are typically an hour long. I achieved an A in politics, maths and English literature at A level and secured a grade 9 in English language at GCSE as well as a grade 8 in English literature and maths.
