About Andreas
I am a former International Baccalaureate student and currently working towards a double major at University of Rochester. Both a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in Language, Media, and Communications. I have 3+ years of experience tutoring and being a teaching assistant. My goal is to help your child no longer need my tutoring services and give them the skills to learn effectively on their own. Your child's education is my number one priority. As a first generation college studentI understand the importance of getting good grades and getting into good schools. That is what I am here to help your child do.

When tutoring for English and literature courses I prefer to let the student lead the lesson and tell me what they need. If they want me to read over a passage they read and bounce off ideas I can do that or I can spend the session proofreading and offering suggestions for an essay. I have experience with research papers so I can spend time showing students how to use resources to find peer-reviewed studies and cite them. I have experience in mainly Chicago and MLA-style citations. I also have work in literary analysis papers and can offer guidance on how to properly integrate quotes, have structured and concise analysis, and reach a clear and well-devised final argument.
