About Roshan
I am a medical student at the University of Manchester. I am a people person and love to help others. I am patient and understanding. I like to create a positive, calm and relaxed environment as I believe that this is the best way to learn. It certainly was for me and schools apply alot of pressure which stresses you out. By feeling calmer, it helps you to focus better and ultimately maximise your capability.
I am friendly, helpful and calm. I look to have a more collegue style relationship as opposed to tradition teacher-student relationships. If I was to tutor you, we are in it together and therefore I would want you to succeed.

School can be challenging and stressful at times. Therefore, I found taking a more relaxed approach to studies allowed me to focus more and concentrate better.
Therefore, I look to impliment this into my lessons, by creating a calm environment in which mistakes are perfectly acceptable. In dealing with shortcomings, I aim to tackle them in positve ways, breaking problems down into manageable parts and setting realistic, achievable goals. This helps to nagivgate to the exact root cause of the issue and allows for resolution.
I also feel it important to reflect and assess progress, therefore, I like to create areas for comparison to show students their progress and build confidence in themselves.
Maths has always come naturally to me and therefore this is definitely my strong suit. I wish to share the knowledge I have and provide simple, easy and logical ways to solve various problems by breaking them down into their component parts.
