About Sam
I am a disciplined community college transfer student who has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my rigorous under division engineering and science classes at Santa Barbara City College. I transferred to UC Berkeley in the Fall of 2024 pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
With my experience thus far both as a tutor and as a student, I am confident in my abilities to help others work through struggles in math and science. I can relate to these struggles because I also experienced them at one point. I am in touch with what challenges come up and am equipped with the knowledge to help students through these challenges.

I can also provide insights on what would be in the next classes to come. Since I am an engineering student and apply math all the time, I can also help connect math problems to the real world and provide reasoning beyond just solving a math problem.
