About Elisabeth
I am a 25 year old Master's student in London, with a Bachelor's in Anthropology, who has spent a year working as a Year 1 Teaching Assistant in London. Prior to commencing my undergraduate degree I spent six months working across the pre-prep department at a primary school. Working in schools was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed it immensely, but the demands of my degree mean I am not able to continue while pursuing my own education.
I already find myself missing the teaching environment and so am more than happy to continue that as a tutor. I understand that aspects of learning can be tricky to grasp, especially for children aged between 4-7 as they are so new to structured learning. As a Teaching Assistant I was able to provide children with 1-1 additional support within the classroom and so am readily prepared to continue this as a tutor.

Having worked with children aged 4-7 in a school environment I am aware of the classroom and typical lesson structure. I will provide your child with appropriate support if they are struggling to keep up with their lesson content, with this being tailored to each child I tutor in order to achieve not just success, but to nurture their self-esteem and confidence.
While negotiable, I recommend 1 hour long lessons - an appropriate amount of time to make progress but not too long as to overwhelm and exhaust them.
I can offer support in Maths, English, and Phonics: I am well-acquainted with the structure and expectations of these from my year in a London prep school.
Due to their young age, I know that their learning is seemingly broad. As such, I will be happy to discuss the current educational needs of your child and work with you to develop the most effective tutoring plan possible, targeting the areas of their learning that require support.
