About Tara
When difficult, school can be extremely overwhelming. I experienced it all too well in school and still do!
I spent a lot of time in high school tutoring because it was something I truly did not mind doing and volunteering hours for. I think I have a very special way of helping students understand challenging material because I had to digest this information at a point too.

My tutoring experience spans 6 years in a variety of environments. I have tutored all sorts of subjects including STEM and SAT, and am able to tutor students of all ages.
My typical lesson plans are specialized to each student's learning needs, but I generally believe that practice problems and active solving are most significant for effective, proficient learning.
As I have also been tutored/been in the student role for 12 years of my life, I know what works best and what does not when tutoring.
