About Rose
My name is Rose Finnegan and I am going into my second year of studying history at UCL. I am incredibly passionate about the study of history and how we can apply its lessons to the modern day. I did not complete my history a-level all that long ago, meaning I will easily be able to help GCSE and A-Level students grasp concepts and master the skill of essay writing as I clearly remember doing that myself. I am also skilled in English, achieving a 9 at GCSE and an A at A-level, so am happy to provide tutoring in this subject area as well.

Each student is unique, and I will tailor my lessons to suit individual learning styles and needs. Whether you prefer visual aids, hands-on activities, or theoretical explanations, I will adapt my teaching methods accordingly. I aim to engage students through discussions, questions, and problem-solving activities to encourage active participation and deeper understanding. Breaking down complex topics into manageable steps to ensure thorough comprehension before moving on to advanced concepts. Encouraging and motivating students by celebrating their successes and providing constructive feedback to build confidence and foster a love for learning. I recently achieved an A* in history a-level and now study history at one of the UK's top universities, UCL. My lessons are for any age group, specifically GCSE and A-level.
