I am currently studying History at The University of Edinburgh with the aim of becoming a secondary school teacher. I achieved seven higher’s and one advanced higher during my time at school, including higher Modern Studies and higher and advanced higher History.

I approach each lesson based around what particular issue the pupil feels like they need to work on. Pupil feedback is very important to me as I like to ensure that each session is as helpful as possible and that the student feels as though they are progressing. I will incorporate different ways of learning based on what the student finds most effective for them. Depending on the intensity of tutoring needed, the sessions can require work to be completed for each lesson.
