About Nolan
I am always the most happy when I am helping somebody else. Any time someone has a question in a math or science class, I have many peers who come to me for help and say that I helped them do well on their tests! I always be sure to have plenty of patience with whoever I am working with because no mind is the same, and extra time may be required and that is okay! I am empathetic and positive, and I can relate to many struggles when trying to learn challenging and new concepts. I will use my won knowledge and skills to reassure you and to give you a new sense of self-confidence that will help you to understand any concept!

In my lessons, I will ask the student the topic they have learned about and exactly what they are confused about. After, I will summarize the topic of concern while putting an emphasis on the confusing matter, and simultaneously encouraging the student to ask any questions that may arise throughout my explanation. My lessons will provide an empathetic, nurturing, and patient environment for any K-11th Grader who is struggling! I will always ask for student input as to how I can further improve my explanation or if I need to re-explain anything. The most important thing to me is prioritizing that the student feels comfortable with making mistakes, and that they can use the tools they learned from my lessons to overcome any other hurdles that may arise throughout their academic journey!
