About Mya
I am a writing, test preparation, and career readiness tutor with experience supporting students in developing strong academic writing skills, reading comprehension, and professional communication.
My focus is on helping students improve clarity, structure, and confidence in writing, whether for essays, standardized test preparation, or professional materials such as résumés and cover letters. I break down complex writing and reading tasks into clear, manageable steps and adapt my approach to each student’s learning style.
I also bring experience from professional development training and membership in a business fraternity, where I have strengthened my understanding of workplace expectations, professionalism, and communication in academic and career settings. I incorporate these insights into my tutoring to help students not only succeed in school, but also prepare for internships and future careers.
