About Mia
Hi! I'm Mia, a student about to enrol in my first choice university to study English Literature and Media Communications. I absolutely love English, particularly writing and reading! I took English Language and English Literature at A-Level, after enjoying both subjects at GCSE, and wished that I had someone to guide me through both my GCSEs, and the big step up that A-Levels are! Whilst I may not be able to give you all the answers, I can help explain concepts, allow you to visualise and remember them in an effective way and help you expand your academic register! Learning and revision doesn't have to feel difficult, as it is a completely different experience and process for everyone, which I will adapt to in order to help you best.

After taking both English Literature and English Language at A-Level, I have recently secured a place at my first choice university to study English Literature and Media Communications, but want to continue my passion for English Language through tutoring! I achieved a 7 in GCSE English Language and recently a B in English Language at A-Level. However, I can also assist English Literature students with their learning too. My tutoring sessions will typically last around an hour, however I can reduce or extend a session upon request. I have experience volunteering in a year seven English class, in which I assisted students with their spelling, grammar and writing techniques - as well as helping some students with assessments. My tutoring sessions are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students - particularly those studying AQA English Language.
