About Lachlan
Hello, I'm Lachlan, currently in my first year pursuing a computer science degree at UCL. I'm enthusiastic about teaching mathematics to assist you in your exam preparation. With a strong academic background, I've earned A* grades in both A Level Maths and Further Maths, along with an A* in GCSE Maths. I'm here to share my knowledge and help you succeed.

Mathematics can sometimes present challenging concepts, and I understand that students may seek a deeper understanding of the subject. In our first lesson, I prioritize understanding your individual needs. We'll identify areas where you find math most challenging and tailor our approach accordingly.
My teaching methodology follows a structured path. Each lesson will consist of two core components: theory and practice. We'll cover the theory to ensure you have a solid foundation and then apply that knowledge in practical exercises. To reinforce your learning, I'll provide homework assignments and offer detailed feedback.
Each lesson typically spans one hour, allowing us to focus and make the most of our time.
With a track record of achieving A* grades in both A Level Maths and Further Maths, and my current pursuit of a Computer Science degree at UCL, I'm well-equipped to teach GCSE / A Level Maths and Additional Maths with confidence.
