My teaching method usually begins with a discussion. I get a brief background on the student to try in understand what style of teaching would best benefit them. Depending on the subject I am tutoring in I get a feel of what the student knows or have experience in. I work my lesson plan according to the areas/subjects that may need work. During the teaching I make sure to apply the situations in real time, I am sure to add the students to the discussion. Afterwards I always get feedback on how I can better assist them.
