About Una
As a current biology undergraduate with a strong foundation in the subject, I bring both knowledge and experience to my role as a tutor. I have prior experience tutoring students and currently serve as a Learning Assistant for the introductory biology courses at my university. In this role, I help explain complex biological concepts to students on a weekly basis, giving me a deep understanding of how to convey material in a clear and accessible way. My experience spans a wide range of topics, from foundational concepts like cell structure and metabolism to more advanced areas such as genetics and molecular biology. As a biology undergraduate with hands-on research and academic experience, I take a personalized and interactive approach to tutoring. My lessons are designed for high school students preparing for exams like General and AP Biology exams, as well as undergraduate students tackling courses such as General Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, or Molecular Biology.
