About Freya
My name is Freya and I have always had a major passion for biology and all things STEM. Throughout my GCSEs and A-Levels I was the go to person if my classmates didn't understand a concept or needed some extra help and I would always be excited to help.
I curated a detailed set of notes during my A-levels which include helpful diagrams and easy to understand explanations which I love to use to help alongside my teaching. However part of the joy of tutoring is adapting this teaching style to meet the way my students will learn best so they can achieve their top grades.
I'm naturally a confident and kind person so you needn't worry about having a strict tutor who won't help and support you. I only want to help you enjoy the subject as much as you can and hopefully help boost some grades whilst I'm at it.

I teach by first giving an overview of the specific concept (e.g. the Krebs cycle) , before working through a couple of questions to ensure a strong level of understanding and to reinforce good exam technique.
Lessons can typically last anywhere between 30 - 60 mins depending on the students needs.
My lessons are for A level students predominantly but I can also tutor to GCSE. It doesn't matter how highor low your grades are, I'm here to help in anyway you need.
